"Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights" is a new adventure for Nintendo 3DS. The story offers many puzzles and is set in 19th century Paris.

Central to the plot of "Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights" is a mysterious treasure map with various locations the players have to visit during the adventure. The main character Doctor Lautrec is a pugnacious archeologist with a particular liking for history and puzzles, which makes the numerous hints hidden on the old map a pleasing challenge for him. At his university, Lautrec is not among the most popular teachers, owing partly to his unorthodox and sometimes unusual ways of solving problems. Fortunately, he is accompanied by Sophie, a young and smart student.

The players control Lautrec and use logic, deductive reasoning as well as power of observation to solve puzzles, move objects, and get closer to the mystery hidden behind the map. With the capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS, the game makes use of the additional dimension by adding 3D hints to some puzzles. Important objects can be examined from all angles, and the players have the ability to zoom in to certain scenes, look closely at details, and compare them with the map.

While our hero and his assistant are on their way to solving the mystery, other academics - one of them even a member of a wellknown criminal gang - try to sabotage their mission. And this is only the beginning of the perilous journey Lautrec and Sophie are on...
